Day 1: Johannesburg to Kruger National Park Transfer
A transfer from OR Tambo Airport, Johannesburg, can be arranged for an extra cost.
Meet your guide in Hazyview or Depart from OR Tambo International airport in Johannesburg with our transfer service provider to Hazyview, where your guide will be waiting to meet you.
After a short 15 minute drive to the nearest Kruger entry gate. Your photographic safari begins as you enter the park. All from an open private safari vehicle giving you an uninterrupted view, with your photographic guide providing you with on board wildlife photographic tutoring. Once you’ve arrived at your rest camp, inside the Kruger Park where you will stay on your photographic safari. You will check-in and get acquainted with your accommodation, camp shop and restaurant.
Each afternoon between safaris, your guide will walk you around the camp to take a variety of photos of anything interesting like birds and wild flowers. You will then be provided with guidance in the wildlife photography editing process.
Dinner is at the camp restaurant. A selection of African inspired dishes is available from the camp restaurant menu.
Day 2: Photographic Safari In Kruger Park
On photographic safaris the specialised attention to wildlife photography provides you with the best opportunity to capture those amazing images you’ve always dreamed of. Your photographic guide is experienced in the perfect positioning of the safari vehicle, giving you great photographic perspectives. Head out of camp on a sunrise safari as the gates open, giving you the best morning light for wildlife photography. (each safari is 3-4 hrs.)
Your guide has expert knowledge of the Kruger Park and knows the hotspots for sightings and great landscape photographic opportunities. Our guides have a working knowledge of the most widely used camera gear and will provide you with the right modes and settings to help you learn and understand the capabilities of your camera and how to shoot specific shots, such as that perfect sunset silhouette.
After your morning safari you will return to camp for breakfast, after breakfast you will walk around camp for some photography on foot, capturing birds, wild flowers and more, your guide will then provide you with editing guidance, before rest and relaxation time. In the afternoon you will head out on a sunset safari, ensuring you are in the bush for both sunrise and sunset golden hours, the best times of the day for wildlife photography.
Day 3: Last morning on Safari & Transfer to Johannesburg
On your final day of your private photographic safari. You will head out of camp in the early morning yet again giving you your final golden hour photographic opportunity.
After your 3- 4 hour morning photographic safari, you will head back to camp for breakfast and to pack your bags.
Your guide will then take you back to Hazyview through the Kruger, to meet your return transfer to Johannesburg OR Tambo airport. With your very own archive of beautiful wildlife photos from your African safari adventure.
